Irradiated Revenant
Although your flesh sloughs off, you speak with a deep, rattling rasp and your hair falls out in clumps, you're still human. Sure, you look like the ferals, but you're not one of them! You still have your sentience, and you don't crave brains. Delicious...human...braaaaaiiiiins…
Begins with 1d6x10s and d2 Omens. HP: Toughness+d8
How long have you been what you are? (d6)
1.) Since the bombs fell; you’ve long since adjusted to this life.
2.) It’s been a rough year.
3.) A couple months back.
4.) You just turned yesterday.
5.) About an hour ago.
6.) You’re not sure; you got locked in a sealed-off room at some point and gave up counting the days.
Abilities
DEAD NERVES 3d6+2 Toughness. RIGOR MORTIS 3d6-2 Agility. Roll d6 on the weapons table and d2 on the armor table. An irradiated revenant killed by radiation rises as a feral in d12 hours.
1.) Aim For the Head
Much like your feral counterparts, nothing short of severing your head or destroying your brain can kill you, barring radiation. If you are reduced to 0 HP, you rise again with 1 HP in 1d6 rounds. If you take any amount of damage from a critical hit, you die immediately.
2.) Brain Eater
Food and drink no longer satiate you; you must now eat human brains to survive. A single human brain serves as both a ration of food and water.
3.) Revenant Call
Your vocal chords have decayed to the point of being nearly useless, and you can now call out with a raspy, rattling growl - the same growl ferals use to alert each other to the presence of a meal. On a successful DR14 Presence test, you call out to 1d4 ferals in the area, who shamble toward you and appear on the next round. They ignore you and any other revenants in the area, but otherwise attack indiscriminately.
4.) Flesh Eater
Your decaying gums have recessed, making your teeth appear greatly elongated. You may bite an enemy, tearing out large chunks of flesh on a successful DR10 attack. The bite deals d6 damage. Roll an additional d6 on a successful bite; on a result of 1 - 3 the enemy gets a free attack. On a result of 4 - 6 you quickly consume the chunk of flesh and heal an amount of HP equal to the bite's damage.
5.) Final Exhalation
You’re not sure when, but at some point your lungs stopped working. You no longer breathe, and cannot drown or suffocate. You are also immune to any effects that require inhalation.
6.) Feral
You are gone; there is only hunger. You have access to all Irradiated Revenant class abilities but can no longer speak or understand language, nor discern friend from foe, simply attacking the closest non-revenants to you. You have no sense of self preservation or planning, nor any memory of the person you used to be. What a horrible fate.
