Finally, an update!

I now have two completed classes; The Desolate Wanderer and the Irradiated Revenant. For now I'm sticking to the core book's use of SP and Omens, as I've yet to come up with thematically suitable replacements. I'm hoping to put the finishing touches on the Acolyte of the Divine Glow soon; the bulk of it is complete, but I plan to add one more ability to it and maybe make some little changes to it, but at this point what you see is largely how the finished class is going to be. That would just leave me with the Technocratic Fraternity Initiate and the Wasteland Marauder and more core classes will be finished. I do have ideas for other classes in mind. but they may or may not come along later.

My next move is going to be to finalize rules for radiation sickness and firearms. I want radiation sickness to be more than just taking a little damage each turn, so it's probably going to wind up being a status effect that requires rolling on a small d4 table to determine what it does each turn. As for firearms, I largely know how I want them to work; they're gonna' be lethal. If the first shot doesn't do the job, the second probably will. I plan to balance this out by making ammo scarce and expensive, firearms themselves even more scarce (they'll essentially be taking the place of magic weapons) and prone to breaking, and advising players to keep in mind that foes can also wield them. I'm also still planning to put together a light system for vehicle combat, but I've decided I need to finish the core of this hack first. Once I have that accomplished, I can revisit car combat.

I'm determined to finish this project, and to that end I'll be devoting more time and attention to it. I can't promise weekly updates, but it should definitely be less than four months (!!!) this time.
